You look and then you have to look again. The Mask, possibly a self-portrait, is a complicated painting of a clown putting on his makeup. It took Win seven months to complete. Many of the objects in this painting can be found in Win's anti-landscape paintings by a perceptive viewer. The Mask # 2, is clearly not a self-portrait, but like the first in this series, shows a performer putting on his make-up - his "other" face.
